Orange peels are a wonderful source of vitamin c and calcium. Not fun to eat, but incredible for feeding your skin. They are also full of anti-oxidants and skin brightening agents. The combination of ingredients in this mask is fabulous for evening out skin tone and producing a healthy glow.
It's great to mix this mask with water and enjoy the unadulterated benefits from orange peel and calendula, but try mixing it with soy milk and a bit of blackstrap molasses. It's a smooth and creamy combination that won't dry out as fast if you like to leave it on for an hour or so (which is a fab idea). If you want brighter, beautiful skin, let's get glowing!
Ingredients: Calendula Officinalis (Calendula) Powder*, Citrus Sinensis (Orange) Peel Powder*, Cicer Arietinum (Garbanzo) Flour*, Kaolin (White) Clay,
To use, place approximately 1 - 2 teaspoons of dry mask into a clean bowl. Add an equal amount of liquid, or adjust the amount to your preference and mix. Gently apply to clean skin. Leave for 10-20 minutes, depending on your skin's needs (avoid letting the mask completely dry) and rinse off. Use once or twice a week. Use as a night treatment to avoid problems with photosensitivity.
Why buy your face masks dry? By mixing your masks as you use them, you avoid the need for preservatives. Using dry masks also gives you the opportunity to choose your liquid - witch hazel, coconut water, soy milk, orange juice, chilled herbal tea, cold brew coffee or distilled water are great choices and give you tons of variety from one jar!
This is a 2 ounce (12 tsp) sized glass bottle (please reuse or recycle!). Assuming 1 - 2 teaspoons per use, it yields 6 - 12 masks. Although our dry masks do not contain nanoparticles, care should still be used to not inhale dust while preparing.
As with any product containing essential oils, always check with your doctor if you are pregnant or have a medical condition before use.

YES! All my products are certified vegan AND cruelty free by PETA. The Granola Goat is also certified cruelty free by the Leaping Bunny program. I care about this deeply and if I cannot verify my suppliers are cruelty free via their own literature, I contact them to make sure.
I source from major companies as well as small and indie businesses when possible. I love to buy directly from the farm, producer, or maker but if I must purchase through a distributor, I choose companies who have a reputation to protect. All the essential oils I use are grown without pesticides, synthetic chemicals, herbicides, gmo's, harmful chemicals or fertilizers. I will never purchase cheap products from suspect suppliers, no matter what their claims are. Saving a dime is not worth putting old or adulterated ingredients in my bottle and on your skin. I want you to be healthier, and safer when it comes to your beauty choices.
Oh yes. You might find that the culprit behind the burning and itching your face feels when using certain products is the preservative. Products containing water must be preserved to inhibit bacterial growth. If you have sensitive skin, you might just need to avoid preservatives.
Keeping it simple is kind of my thing. I believe in getting the full benefit from few as opposed to minimal benefit from many. If you want to go crazy and get lots of ingredients at once, mix some of my products. It’s not unheard of for me to sport a face mask that was mixed with the last little bit of three different jars. My serums play well together if you want to mix them (Brighter Days and Keep Calm are glorious together!), and we even love to combine a little makeup removing oil with serum for a nice oil cleanse.
Absolutely! There are no hidden ingredients, no undisclosed use of solvents like hexane (because I don't use solvent extracted oils at all), no preservatives, and nothing disguised.
